The AABIP Education Committee is requesting applications for:
AABIP Webinar Series Coordinator
Deadline to apply: Tuesday, May 7, 2024
Activity: AABIP Webinar Series Coordinator
Term: 2 years with an option to renew for an additional 2 years
The selected applicant will work with the AABIP webinar co-moderators to organize and conduct the monthly AABIP Webinar Series. This is a voluntary service position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify relevant webinar topics for the series
- Secure speakers and organize dates for monthly webinars
- Arrange webinar in Zoom
- Organize webinar and speaker information for the development of advertisements
- Communicate regularly with webinar speakers and co-moderators
- Update webinar slides prior to each webinar
- Conduct monthly live webinars
- Help with logistical/technical troubleshooting during the webinar
- If interested, serve as a backup co-moderator and help with introductions or Q&A in case needed
- Upload recorded webinar for viewing on AABIP website and YouTube
- Update webinar series records
- Meet regularly with co-moderators
- Provide regular updates on webinar series events to the AABIP education committee
- Work in conjunction with other AABIP members to arrange a members-only webinar series
- Work in conjunction with AABIP Education Committee and Board of Directors leadership to arrange industry-sponsored webinars
Criteria for Selection:
- AABIP member in good standing
- Preference given to trainees and early career professionals with strong electronic communication skills
- Applicant must confirm their ability to commit time and effort to the responsibilities listed above
