2026 IP Fellows BootcampThe American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology & Association of Interventional Pulmonology Program Directors are pleased to announce our 14th annual 2026 IP Fellows Bootcamp to be held in Houston, Texas on July 17-18, 2026, at the MITIE Lab at Houston Methodist.
The course is designed to introduce incoming fellows to core Interventional Pulmonology procedures while also providing an early opportunity to build relationships across training programs. The curriculum has been structured to prioritize hands-on experience through faculty-led, small group sessions in a controlled training environment. For 2026, the course has been redesigned to take full advantage of the Houston Methodist MITIE Lab, allowing for longer, cadaver-based training sessions and more integrated procedural learning. Fellows will participate in combined navigation bronchoscopy and EBUS training, dedicated rigid bronchoscopy sessions, thoracoscopy and pleural procedure training, as well as focused simulation-based sessions covering valves, hemoptysis management, and stent selection.
