IP Position at Henry Ford Hospital:

The IP Section at Henry Ford Health is continuing to grow and seeking a board certified/board eligible faculty member to join our team in the position of Interventional Pulmonologist. A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience is required.

The Interventional Pulmonology Section at HFH includes sections of: Advanced Diagnostics, Advanced Therapeutics, Pleural Disease, Education and Fellowship, IP Research, Lung Cancer Screening (system-wide program), and Lung Cancer Screening Research. Our program has been involved in the development and early clinical work of most technologies currently being used. We continue to broaden the scope of the program both clinically and wish to continue to grow the research program.

We are looking to add a colleague who wishes to work within a strong collegial program with strong clinical experience. Currently we have seven physicians and two APPs as members of the Section. The IP Section controls a three room bronchoscopy suite at the main campus, provide advanced diagnostic procedures at one of our support hospitals, and are a fully integrated surgical service in the operating room, with three blocked days of OR time. Academic position will be available through Wayne State University School of Medicine and/or Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Eight to twelve weeks of potential critical care and pulmonary time can be discussed as part of this position.

The IP Group are members of the Henry Ford Cancer Institute and have the support of the Institute and all specialties.
