2022 AABIP survey on IP practice patterns, salary and wRVUs

Dear colleagues,

Currently, there are limited resources available to benchmark compensation and wRVUs for advanced diagnostic bronchoscopists and Interventional Pulmonologists. This often leads to challenges in negotiating contracts with institutions and employers. In pursuit of its core mission of advancing the field, the AABIP endeavors to provide our members with pertinent information that enables them to reach their full potential. As part of this effort, the AABIP conducted a survey on interventional pulmonology practice patterns, salary and wRVU in 2016 and 2019. These previous surveys have provided robust information, empowering our members with detailed knowledge of practice trends and valuable insights on the fair market value of their work.

It is now time to update this information with the 2022 AABIP survey. Please take 5-6 minutes to fill out the survey to help lift your colleagues and your profession. Your participation is critical to increasing the robustness of the information obtained.

To further enhance the impact of this survey, we plan to publish the results in the Journal of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, after an appropriate peer-review process. Please be on the lookout for this publication in the last quarter of 2022.

Please rest assured that the survey is completely anonymous, and your information is completely protected.

We greatly appreciate your effort in this matter.
