Activity: Co-Chair: 2023 AABIP Program at CHEST Conference

The selected applicant will serve as course co-chair and work with the chair to organize and moderate the annual AABIP PG Course at CHEST. The selected individual will assume the position of chair for the program the following  year (i.e. during the second year of the term). This is a voluntary service position.

Education Committee Goals

The Education Committee seeks to provide educational resources that advance the field of Interventional Pulmonology and promote learning opportunities to enhance the knowledge and practice of our membership.

The Education Committee oversees the development of various educational courses and symposiums during annual national meetings, such as the AABIP conference, Chest and ATS. Some of the other educational activities under the auspices of this committee include the IP Fellowship Boot Camps, webinars, podcasts, and journal clubs.

Criteria for Selection
  • Minimum 5 years post IP fellowship training or IP Practice
  • Has not previously served as Program (or AABIP PG Course) chair or co-chair
  • AABIP member in good standing
